CAUTION: When buying a business be sure to check fees

When buying a business you must be sure to research all possible costs and hidden charges. Whether you are buying an existing business and intend on modifying, or leasing a space and starting from scratch to build a business, beware...there may be fees you do not anticipate.
There may be additional taxes, assessments concerning owning or revising an existing business. If the taxes are important to you can call San Diego County Tax Board. In addition, you may be affected by TIF fees and regulations (Transportation Impact Fees), go to www.co.san-diego.ca.us for commercial TIF rates and regulations. I advise you also to check with www.ada.gov on any Disablities Act Codes and Regulations. There may also be TIF fees, ADA regulations, or codes pertaining to expansion, taxes or penalties on a business.
